Hybrid Senior Test Engineer (Manual, JMeter) RR/145/2025 (5-7 Years) at Emids

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner and Gatling.
• Experience in performance testing of web, mobile, or cloud-based applications.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to evaluate system performance.
• Monitor application behaviour under load using tools such as Grafana, New Relic, AppDynamics.
• Create and maintain performance test scripts and automation frameworks.
• Write, plan and execute manual test cases.
• Conduct benchmarking and capacity planning for critical applications.
• Document test results and provide recommendations for performance tuning.
• Ensure continuous performance testing in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.             
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, APIs, and protocols (REST).
• Experience with profiling and monitoring tools like Grafana or New Relic.
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for query performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their performance testing methodologies.
• Experience with containerization and microservices performance testing (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, and performance degradation through detailed analysis of test results.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to optimize application performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret test results and recommend improvements.
