Responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company’s market presence in Colombia. This involves conducting market research, building and maintaining client/supplier relationships, and developing effective sales strategies. The position also creates proposals, negotiate contract terms, and collaborate with sales and supply/operations teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Additionally, monitor and analyze sales performance to meet targets and refine strategies, ultimately driving sustainable financial growth for the Colombian branch.
Key responsibilities:
Coordination among Colombia's supply chain stakeholders for the execution of new projects.
Supervision and control of the contractual relationship with Asdati (inventory control platform supplier). Leading CPs, DEX and inventory reconciliations. Very complex, demand and high responsibility control.
Lead and assist in general relationships with Ecopetrol, El Dorado Storage, pipeline transportation, fuel transportation companies.
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the pricing structure for the Branch’s customers, including its creation, modification, updating, and timely delivery to both external and internal customers.
Anticipate coming supply and sales contracts and streamline accurately the billing process, especially for new contracts and/or new customers and locations. Supervise load into the System Pricing & Fees updates regarding Colombian locations.
Alternate representative of the Company to the Colombian Petroleum Association (ACP).
Liaise with other WFS Supply & Sales Teams around the world to support and coordinate customer requirements for Fuel Supply on Domestic and International flights. Coordinate with the internal WFS Teams such as Supply, Fees, Taxes, SRM and Sales to troubleshoot issues. Coordinate with International teams to ensure required adjustments are correctly set up at the system.
Work with the Sales Team to develop overall strategy to grow the biz. Identify new opportunities & Review progress on existing Opportunities.
Key requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in the commercial area and projects.
Experience in fuel management, and knowledge of the fuel regulatory framework of Colombia. (Ideally)
Commercial focus.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial engineering or related area.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Advanced English Language. (C1)
Microsoft Office and advanced excel skills (Macros, Pivot)
Knowledge in Tableau is preferred.
Travel up to 40%.
US Visa is preferred.
