Hybrid Data Engineer at DentsuAegis

Client teams who use our Merkury platform can request custom third party data to be included in their Merkury portal/instance. We have relationships with several third party providers who are prepared to assist us with custom data on request.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming data requests from the Merkury Support team.
• Request necessary data from suppliers.
• Track multiple projects at different stages.
• Map/assign supplier data delivered in terms of IDs or tables to English segment names.
• Prepare processing requirements for our DataSource Delivery (DSD) team to generate the necessary Merkury Platform ingestion files.
• QA the ingestion files for proper formatting and expected counts.
• Pass the resulting ingestion files to the Merkury Support team.
• Perform necessary administrative taxonomy tracking.

Necessary Skills

• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Effective time management and ability to work multiple simultaneous projects at different stages of completion.
• SQL skills for checking data availability and counts, and QA ingestion file formatting.
