About the Role
Responsible for leading all aspects of the organization's IT assets and ensuring their accurate use, maintenance, and disposal. This includes the tracking and inventory of all IT assets, as well as the management of software licenses and contracts.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Acting as an experienced practitioner across all aspects of ITAM/HAM/SAM project including processes, organization, tools, data, governance, and license compliance.
Designing and documenting processes, policies, standards, and process requirements.
Performing hardware and software license compliance assessment, identifying gaps/risks and optimization opportunities.
Defining practice governance structure and required reports/dashboards.
Understand major software publisher’s products and licensing metrics.
Working closely with tools teams (e.g. ServiceNow) to implement processes, controls, dashboard.
Providing trusted advice on how ITAM transformation and technology enablement can lead to improved performance, reduce risks, optimize investments, and cost saving.
Responsible for maintaining accurate IT asset repository.
Responsible for annual software license renewal, end user device Tech Refresh and hardware disposal.
Lead and coordinate inventory checking of IT hardware and software and support any IT asset audit exercise, inventory check, etc.
Manage compliance with software licensing agreements.
Provide day-to-day support for ITSM related issues or administrative tasks.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
Degree in Computer Science with min. 4 years’ experience in ITAM/HAM/SAM experience as a practitioner.
Good understanding of one or more ITAM/SAM tools, like ServiceNow, Flexera, etc.
Ability/experience to perform assessment of current state, define target state and prepare roadmap to achieve the target state.
Knowledge with automation tools, e.g., Automation Anywhere, MS Power Automate, UiPath.
Technical knowledge and experience on Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, SCCM, GPO, O365, Azure, Intune, MAC, SurfaceHubs, Citrix, etc.) and networking technologies.
Sound knowledge and hands-on operational experience in Office 365 platforms such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Flow and integration with 3rd Party applications.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
