Worldwide Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Senior Project Manager - Chemical and Specialty Gas Work Group Lead (WGL) to join our growing team in North Phoenix, AZ on a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing construction project. Successful candidates for this position will have demonstrated Construction Project Management with engineering/operations knowledge of semiconductor bulk and specialty gas and chemical systems. This position is responsible for the development and management of the Chemical/Gas systems Master Equipment List, System Start Up Matrix, and the Chemical/Gas construction schedule development and progress status.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, technical skilled, highly organized, clearly communicate and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This position requires the development and management of systems/processes to effectively coordinate with the multiple owner, GC, and trade contractor teams. Candidates’ work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout career. Gas and Chemical delivery systems Install / Semiconductor experience required.
Local candidates highly preferred. Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Work directly with the owner to ensure that their program needs are met.
Ability to work in a multi-contract environment.
Manage project team including multiple owner, GC, and trade partners to meet requirements and deliverables keeping the values of safety and quality in mind.
Lead and pursue continuous improvement initiatives and actions to aid in achieving project objectives.
Prepare project reports and documentation, communicate with Project Team and Client management.
Collaborate with team and other key stakeholders to ensure project schedules are established and maintained and are in alignment with owner expectations.
Coordination and integration of the design with the construction/start up schedules.
Ownership of the Master Equipment List and System Start Up Matrices for all bulk and specialty Chem/Gas systems.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 to 10 years of large project and construction management experience with strong results in meeting deadlines and cost requirements.
Semiconductor experience required.
Working knowledge of semiconductor bulk and specialty Chemical/Gas system design documents (drawings, engineering databases, specifications, etc) and
Working knowledge of semiconductor construction and start up schedules, constraints, and sequencing.
Knowledge of CPM scheduling in the construction environment
Excellent communication skills: ability to work well with a highly diverse team including owners, GC’s, trades, and vendors.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction standards, practices, techniques, and technology
Ability to interpret construction contracts, plans and specifications.
Demonstrated proficiency and experience with the following tools: Primavera/Excel/Word
Education:
Preferred B.S. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field or equivalent experience.
