We are looking for a hands-on Developer to support the integration of the Securities Finance Trading system (FIS-SFTC) with a new Core Banking platform. This role focuses on building, testing, and deploying system interfaces to enable seamless data exchange across the trading and core banking environments. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and QA teams to implement performant and reliable connectivity solutions in line with project objectives.YOUR CHALLENGE
Develop, configure, and maintain APIs, services, and data interfaces between trading and core banking systems
Implement transformations and data validation logic to ensure consistency and completeness of transmitted information
Work from detailed technical specifications and field mappings to deliver robust integration solutions
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) activities
Troubleshoot and resolve defects or integration issues during SIT/UAT and production deployment phases
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects to refine designs and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Maintain clear and structured documentation for all integration components developed
YOUR PROFILE
8+ years development background with experience in system-to-system integration within financial services
Proficiency in relevant programming/scripting languages such as in Databases & SQL, Unix & Scripting, Java development skills
Familiarity with middleware, integration frameworks, or message-oriented architectures (e.g., Kafka, MQ)
Experience with source control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
Understanding of data quality, logging, and exception handling best practices in interface development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with trading systems or core banking platforms and their integration points
Exposure to financial instruments and post-trade workflows in securities lending and borrowing, repo
Knowledge of FIS SFTC solution (FINACE)
Ability to work independently in a delivery-driven environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
English language skills oral and written is a must
