We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Banking and Finance practice in Singapore as a member of our banking and finance team.
The Role
- Drafting of finance documents, corporate authorities, legal opinions and other ancillary financing documents
- Registration and deregistration of charges
- Liaising with foreign counsel in relation to transactional matters
- Liaising with clients in relation to transactional matters
- Conducting due diligence
- Proof-reading and checking of documents.
- Checking and preparation of conditions precedent
- Preparing transaction bibles
- Assisting the team in consolidating and updating know-how
- Research work
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant experience in a legal firm is required.
- Good spoken and written skills in English
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft office packages and research skills
- Good academic record
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a demanding workload and conflicting priorities.
- Takes ownership of tasks and has initiative
- Proactive attitude to problem solving and a flexible approach to tackling a wide variety of tasks.
