GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position offers a valuable learning opportunity for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in Human Resources, with exposure to various HR functions such as learning, operations, compliance, benefits, and employee relations. As a Human Resources Intern with us the minimum responsibilities are:
• Work closely with the Human Resources to provide support to the Team.
• Assist with data auditing and reporting.
• Act as a resource for field-level HR support.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries about company policies, procedures, and programs.
• Provide administrative support for HR events and activities, such as room bookings, catering coordination, and preparation of learning materials.
• Undertake special projects and support the HR team as time allows.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee-related and HR-sensitive information.
• Assist with engagement platforms and annual Servant Leadership Surveys.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
• Working knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources Management
• High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with internal stakeholders.
• Initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams), Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Interest or academic background in Human Resources Management or related fields is preferred.
• Previous experience with HRIS tools, such as Workday, is an asset but not required.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
