Sponsored by OysterThe Sr. Director of Humanitarian Response and Technical Services will have strategic and operational responsibility for CORE’s humanitarian response efforts. The position will be a part of the Leadership team that drives the overall strategy for the organization and represents CORE on a local, regional, national, and international basis.
CORE views our emergency relief programs as the first step in a programmatic continuum helping communities on a path of recovery and preparedness. It is the most visible of our work and requires close supervision to ensure excellence in implementation and close coordination across all of CORE’s Departments. CORE’s Sr. Director of Humanitarian Response and Technical Services (HRTS) must respond with urgency and move quickly to provide immediate relief while also working with the VP of Programs & Partnerships to advise on making investments that have positive, deep, and long-term impact. They will need to be able to analyze complex contexts and get on the ground quickly, then iterate for deeper impact.
