As Project Manager Segment Finance (m/f/x), you are a member of the Finance & Business Excellence department. You act as a cross-functional contact for Corporate Finance in connection with financial topics and analyses of the Industrial Quality Research segment. You strategically support important financial initiatives within the segment and implement them. In this context, you independently manage global projects aimed at increasing efficiency and optimizing business processes within the Industrial Quality Research segment.

Your role

• plan and coordinate the collaboration and financial activities with the two SBUs Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) & Industrial Quality Solutions (IQS) and act as the central point of contact for the IQR segment for the corporate finance functions.

• actively participate in the strategy, MTP, and planning processes at the IQR segment level and in the long-term development

• You are responsible for creating financial analyses, deriving recommendations for company management, and tracking of defined measures

• preparing business cases and decision templates for (top) management is as much part of your responsibilities as creating analyses, reports, and presentations for the IQR segment for various internal and external stakeholders

• You are responsible for the continuous development and optimization of our internal processes and tools. In doing so, you analyze existing processes, identify improvement potentials, and implement innovative solutions to sustainably increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our working methods

• Lead and manage interdisciplinary, global project teams regarding the achievement of project goals and the effective handling of interfaces. In this context, you conduct comprehensive analyses, develop creative solutions, and prepare issues in a structured manner. You are also responsible for initiating and implementing necessary management decisions to ensure project success

Your profile

• successfully completed a degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field of study

• relevant proven experience in finance & controlling and ideally project management in an international company. You possess practical skills in creating high-quality financial analyses, commentaries, and decision templates for top management and committees such as the supervisory board

• excellent interaction and communication skills, as well as negotiation competence. You can apply these at different hierarchical levels and are confident in dealing with (senior) management

• You possess a high level of commitment, initiative, and strong analytical skills combined with conceptual, entrepreneurial thinking, as well as very good self- and project-organization skills

• very good MS Office skills and good knowledge of SAP BW and PowerBI

• very good English language skills, ideally also good knowledge of German; Ideally, you have some experience abroad and you are willing to travel globally
