Hybrid PCB Layout Engineer at Intel

Job Description: 

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Drive and deliver PCB Layouts for all types of electrical boards, including flexible circuit boards and rigid boards.
• Prepare layout, detailed drawings, and schematics by using computer assisted engineering design software and ECAD tools.
• Define efficient design guidelines, specifications, and best-known design methods and propose and ideate design asks and solves design complexities.
• Apply knowledge of high-density high speed, mixed, analog, digital, RF designs, rigid, and flex designs to deliver End to End PCB design flow, final design packages for PCB fabrication, including fabrication assembly drawings, and manages PCB documentation.
• Define component placement and trace routing rules for components and circuits on a board.
• Conduct the board layout from feasibility studies to board tape out, meeting multidisciplinary platform level requirements.
• Collaborate with electrical design, packaging, manufacturing, thermal, and mechanical teams for continuous improvements in PCB design process and interfaces with signal and power integrity teams to achieve high quality PCB designs. Provides guidance on vendors fabrication capabilities and fine tunes design for low cost and high reliability.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

• Bachelor´s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of experience working with PCB design and manufacturing process.
• 1+ years of experience working with Electronic Design and Signal Integrity.
• Intermediate to advanced English level.

The position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

• Understanding of PCB technologies.
