Position Description:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing Experienced Software Developer to join the BCA Business Success, Manufacturing & Quality product division. The M&Q product team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in house software application supporting our engineering/manufacturing teams. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Basic Qualification (Required Skills/Experience):
•    Understands and develops software solutions to meet end user's requirements. Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools. Develops algorithms, data and process models, plans interfaces and writes interface control documents for use in construction of solutions of moderate complexity.
•    Should have strong experience in object-oriented programming, Java/J2EE applications and advanced concepts
•    Hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful service implementations.
•    Hands on experience on Angular7 & above, Bootstrap, Node Js etc.
•    Experience building distributed / service oriented / micro service-style and cloud-based architecture
•    Experience with cutting edge technologies, such as: Docker, Kubernetes.
•    Experience of working in Cloud technologies i.e. AWS/Azure/GCP.
•    Have an understanding of – or implementation experience in – building Twelve-Factor applications, and using Domain Driven Design
•    Strong knowledge of Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
•    Strong knowledge in JSON, XML and XSLT.
•    Working knowledge of Pipeline/Build tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Veracode, Sonar
•    Have experience in ALM tools (GitLab, TFS, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry(TANZU)).
•    Knowledge about Oracle/MS SQL.
•    Strong work ethic, communication skills & good time management with ability to lead diverse teams, meetings and stakeholders’ meetings.
•    Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code.
•    Good understanding of Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modelling is required.
•    Excellent Presentation and communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
•    Working exposure with Agile and DevOps is a must
•    Good domain knowledge on Manufacturing and Quality operations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•    Related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Typical Education & Experience: 
•    Bachelor's degree and typically 9 - 12 years' related work experience or Master's degree with       typically 8 - 11  years' related work experience is preferred but not required.
