Sponsored by CourseraWe are seeking a proactive and forward-thinking Power Platform Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive consulting experience who can architect solutions, engage with clients, and drive projects to successful completion. You will work closely with our UK-based team to design and implement optimal solutions that meet our clients' commercial constraints and requirements.
Technical responsibilities...
- Solution Architecture: Collaborate with UK resources to design optimal solutions based on customer requirements and commercial constraints.
- Power Platform Expertise: Build solutions across the entire Power Platform, including Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
- Web Development: Utilise Power Pages with HTML, CSS, and Liquid.
- Programming Skills: Employ a variety of tools and languages (C#, JavaScript, SQL, Python, PowerFX) to design, build, test, and deploy high-quality solutions.
- Data Migration: Execute data migration tasks using SSIS.
- Integration: Develop and manage integrations.
- Custom Development: Create custom connectors and PCF controls.
- Platform Knowledge: Maintain expertise in environments, DLP, licensing, security, etc.
- Azure Services: Leverage Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory, Synapse, ML, AD, AI).
- DevOps: Develop automated build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Power Platform and Azure components.
- Project Lifecycle: Work alongside UK Solution Architects throughout the full project lifecycle.
Required skills...
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting and demonstrating solutions to customers.
- Agile Methodology: Experience delivering solutions using Agile methodology and managing user stories in ADO.
- Customer Education: Educate customers on delivery standards and processes, including effective user story writing.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with solution and technical architects, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver measurable ROI.
- Upskilling: Work with customers' technical teams to enable and upskill them in the solutions being built.
- Documentation: Ability to write clear technical documentation.
- Time Management: Strong estimation and time management skills within an Agile mindset.
- Relationship Building: Build trusted relationships with project stakeholders.
- Best Practices: Establish best practices and structure around low-code development.
- Commercial Awareness: Understand and apply commercial considerations in solution design and experience managing expectations for scope within a specific time box.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, knowing when to use out-of-the-box capabilities versus pro-code alternatives.
- Consulting Experience: Preferably have previous experience in a consultancy role.
- Technical skills: Experience in Power Platform portfolio projects involving Dataverse, Azure SQL, and the wider Microsoft stack.
