Title: Benefits and HR Operations Specialist
Department: People

Position Summary
As a Benefits and HR Operations Specialist, you will play an integral part in delivering operational excellence and providing support to our People Team. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for day to day benefit inquiries from employees via an internal ticketing system, Slack, email, etc.. You will be viewed as the subject matter expert on benefits, leave of absences, HR processes, and HR Policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer US and International employee benefits programs in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Liaise with external benefit vendors; review and maintain updates on Prove’s vendor site portals; establish and maintain strong relationships with external benefit brokers.
- Reconcile and validate monthly invoices for accuracy and send to A/P for processing.
- Manage the full leave of absence process; work closely with employees and payroll to ensure paperwork is completed and payments are made accordingly.
- Lead employee communications and promotions for benefits and wellness initiatives through email, presentations, company intranet, and updating Prove Identity’s external website as appropriate.
- Respond to incoming inquiries through the internal JIRA ticketing system; prioritize escalations as needed and bring to resolution in a timely manner.
- Coordinate special projects and events throughout the year including all phases of Open Enrollment.
- Act in a consultative and project management role to support definition and implementation of benefit programs; identify and recommend methods to update, simplify and enhance processes and procedures.
- Provide support on various HR related items, including but not limited to:
- Form 5500 Filings
- ACA Benefit Compliance
- Unemployment Benefit Claims
- Ability to leverage data providing insight and guidance on future improvements across company benefit offerings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or benefits; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong passion for data excellence and the drive to maintain data integrity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong customer service, problem solving, collaborative, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of HR programs relative to support of business objectives.
- Experience working in fast paced, changing environments with multiple priorities
- Rippling experience is preferred.
- JIRA experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment of change and manage multiple priorities concurrently through strong project management, systems knowledge, and effective communication.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to independently compose routine written communications; proficiency in English (read, write, and speak) required.

- Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
- Experience in cybersecurity, fintech, or fast-growing startup is required.
- Experience in a high-growth tech startup growing from $50m to $200m in ARR

The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
