Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and assist stakeholders to understand and implement their data Cataloging, Glossary and Physical Data Lineage requirements.
- Help with the identifying data ownership; that is, definite Data Owner, Data Steward, Data Custodians for Nuveen data domains
- As a member of Nuveen DG COE team, provide the support to Data Owner, Data Steward, Data Custodian on DG activities
- Provide technical support on Collibra to Nuveen NTO and LoB data teams
- Understand and implement the Nuveen Data Governance policies and procedures to implement Data Governance Use Cases in Collibra
- Tooling Configuration and Use Case Implementation:
- Work on integrating Nuveen Data Catalogue with Collibra
to meet specific data governance needs, including data cataloging, business glossary management, data lineage tracking, and policy enforcement.
- Work with the Enterprise Data Governance team to Implement custom workflows and automation rules within Collibra to streamline data governance processes.
- Integrate Collibra with other data management and analytics tools to ensure seamless data governance across the organization.
- Define and drive a consistent Collibra Implementation across Nuveen Lines of Business and their respective stakeholders.
- Responsible for the hands-on implementation of the metadata and data quality rules on Collibra DG/Collibra DQ rules for the assigned use cases/projects.
- Help with driving the end-to-end implementation of DG usage cases
- Work and coordinate with LoB and NTO data groups to remediate issues
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate data governance insights to stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze data governance metrics, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the data governance platform to maximize its value to the organization.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide comprehensive training and support to users on Collibra functionalities and best practices.
- Address user inquiries and resolve issues related to Collibra usage.
- Develop and maintain documentation and resources to facilitate user adoption and ongoing learning.
