Job Description:
In India, we operate as Next Gear India Private Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary of CoreLogic with offices in Kolkata, West Bengal, and Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Next Gear India Private Limited plays a vital role in CoreLogic's Product Development capabilities, focusing on creating and delivering innovative solutions for the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and Property Restoration industries.

Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, workflows, and challenges.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to gather and document requirements.
- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
Data Engineering Alignment:
- Work closely with Data Engineers to design and validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with data engineering best practices.
- Assist in designing data models and defining data quality and governance standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between business teams and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless communication.
- Present findings, reports, and technical proposals to stakeholders for approval.
- Manage expectations and timelines for deliverables.
Analysis and Documentation:
- Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in current processes and systems.
- Document as-is and to-be processes to support solution design.
- Develop user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
Project Support:
- Support project lifecycle phases, from inception to post-implementation review.
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical specifications.
- Provide training and support for end-users.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-related projects.
- Hands-on experience with Data Engineering processes, such as ETL pipelines, data integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Data Engineering tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
