Hybrid Senior Software Engineer I at RELX

The Senior DevOps Engineer will perform software design typically across multiple components, mentor junior team members, and work with others to translate user/customer requests into solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle new modules relying on Azure, including ultron, digital safe, and feature environments.
• Manage infrastructure concepts in Azure, including network setup by security teams and required security constraints (application gateway, firewall, etc.).
• Utilize Azure DevOps, especially with pipelines, and migrate ADO classic UI releases into YAML format.
• Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and YAML.
• Work with Microsoft Windows environments and middleware, including IIS and SQL Server.
• Optionally, have knowledge of containerization and API management.

Required Skills:

• Strong background in Azure.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and pipeline management.
• Scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform and YAML.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments and middleware (IIS, SQL Server).
• Optional: Knowledge of containerization and API management.

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
