Oversee all operational aspects of assigned services and relay corridors, ensuring we deliver on our reliability commitments to customers. In this role, the incumbent will have the opportunity to develop expertise in the following areas:
Gaining a thorough understanding of operational concepts, network structures and commercial strategies
Applying vessel optimization techniques to balance supply with demand effectively
Enhancing analytical skills and participating in decision-making processes to optimize service outcomes
Engaging with the dynamics of various trades and providing active support
Interacting with global stakeholders, including external vendors and operators
Key Responsibilities
As a Coastal fulfillment lead, your responsibilities will include the following, amongst others:
Customer and Schedule delivery
Own and perform scheduling and marine tasks related to the on-time delivery of set schedule for assigned services and deliver schedule reliability outcomes
Own, manage, communicate, and execute on contingencies and schedule recovery for assigned services, guided by connection planning and hub integrity and keeping the customer impact at the center of the decision.
Adhere to Shuttle Working Procedure and Service Level Commitments (SLC) on assigned Gemini Shuttles
Actively evaluate integrity of proforma schedules and be part of the solution to improve schedule integrity
Monitor connections to/from ocean going vessels ensuring connectivity, taking corrective action to enable delivering as promised
Capacity Management
Own and manage standard tasks and processes related to capacity management of our space/assets on assigned services and/or relay legs
Proactively plan and deliver consistent capacity to meet our requirements
Proactively plan, manage, and execute flex capacity within defined processes/limits to meet variations in demand
Monitor volume development on the service/trade, ensuring SOC limits at ports are not exceeded.
Cost and Optimization
Drive bunker efficiency on assigned services
Drive costs reductions and capacity optimization across our assets
Support the execution of empty flow through close collaboration with the equipment and flow teams management and downfall analysis, including flex capacity management
Maximize utilization together with commercial teams with proactive planning, communications, and active capacity management
Process Execution, Continuous Improvements, and Collaboration
Adopt mindset of network thinking and execution excellence
Disciplined adherence to standard processes and actively engages in continuous improvements, including tests, policies, and system design
Who we are looking for
You should be a diligent, self-disciplined and upright individual, accepting personal ownership for your results. You should be innovative and driven to provide solutions and ideas for service level improvements. You will need to be flexible in making decisions and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complexity. You should have good time-management skills and can prioritise and work effectively under tight deadlines.
