What you’ll do

We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our dynamic digital product team working on the Canadian Tire website. This role will be part of an agile scrum team operating under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. The primary responsibilities include ensuring the website's overall success by identifying and prioritizing small bugs and feature enhancements that collectively improve the user experience.

  • Bug Identification & Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and document minor bugs that need resolution to maintain optimal website performance.

  • Feature Enhancement Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and document small feature enhancements that improve the site’s functionality and user experience.

  • Agile Participation: Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, other product owners, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration of new features and fixes.

  • User Experience Advocacy: Advocate for user experience improvements working with the UX designer based on data-driven insights and user feedback.

  • Testing & Validation Coordination: Coordinate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of new features and bug fixes before deployment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital product management or a similar role.

  • Experience working on e-commerce websites or large-scale web applications.

  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for web applications.

  • Exposure to UX/UI best practices and user-centered design principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics or New Relic will be helpful. 

  • Familiarity with web development principles and technologies.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe.

  • Understanding of responsive design principle.

  • Previous experience working in digital product.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
