Responsibilities
Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance, re-directing to HRBPs as needed.
Maintain records of personnel-related data in the HRIS database (Workday)
Liaise with other departments or functions (Total Rewards, L&D, Recruiting, etc.)
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, etc. and maintain the team’s agenda.
Support the hiring process by coordinating pre-boarding tasks and ensuring completion before candidate start dates.
Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires.
Issues employee letters when requested, i.e., letters of employment, new hire/termination contracts, transfers, promotion letters, etc.
Assist in the development and distribution of HR-related communications.
Prepare timely ad-hoc HRIS reports when requested.
Assists in the development of HR programs, processes, and policies.
Assist with the completion of internal and external audits.
Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback.
Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the HR Intranet site.
Support other functions as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
At least two years of related experience is required.

Pay Information
This position is full-time, non-exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of Illinois. The pay range for this position is $30.75- $34.20 USD per hour. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.
This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
U.S. Eligibility Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
