Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Employer training and safety instruction
• Follows direction with intent to learn and be safe in the workplace
• Basic computer usage
• Assist in-house technicians including but not limited to:

                   - Repairs on registers, radiators and diffusers

                   - Replacement of lamps and cleaning of light fixtures

                   - General maintenance in equipment rooms, cooling tower and other

                     building facilities

                  - Assist in the replacement of filters, cleaning coils, condensate pans, on

                    HVAC equipment

                  - General cleaning in mechanical spaces and perimeter inductions units

                  - Cleanup of equipment in central plant and shop

                  - Miscellaneous handyman work requiring the limited use of hand tools

                  - Building rounds and trouble shooting

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have a positive attitude and be willing to assist in approved engineering/maintenance tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed
• Attendance and timeliness disciplines

• Enrollment in a cooperative education program
