About the Job

• Closely monitor attrition and develop quick solutions to cover the work and create stability through transitions.
• Support the CEO and Sr Director, HRBP in all people-related activities, transactional work, and in employee engagement.
• Work in close partnership with other HRBP’s and HR Generalist’s on the team in clusters/markets to ensure consistent approach and strong collaboration.
• Keep a pulse on employee sentiment and collaborate across functions to develop comms, programs and solutions.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of existing HR programs across corporate and retail functions, implement programs as necessary.
• Identify strategies to increase employee engagement through effective communication and practices.
• Execute and/or continue to manage current project plans through the transition period.
• Develop and maintain reporting and analytics as required.
• Use COE materials and resources to create communications that are business-focused and resonate with employees.
• Provide direct support and guidance to employees when necessary.
• Ensures Employee Relations (ER) best practices and training, conducts investigations and proposes corrective actions, collaborates with legal and ER Center of Excellence (COE) to enable ER compliance; Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation for escalated issues.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal department as needed/required.
• Owns all People related activities for the Open or Close of any of the Dockers Retail Stores in the US.
• Execute employee exits and severance where applicable.
   

About You

• inimum 8 years’ experience in HR Generalist role, including global and matrix team’s, working with hourly and distributed employee populations as well as corporate functions in a high growth environment
• BA degree required in HR related field and/or equivalent work experience
• Experience in commercial HR, preferably in a retail environment, a plus
• Experience in acquisition or M&A a plus
• Strong Employee Relations experience in retail, at filed and senior leadership level
• Awareness of retail payroll/timekeeping and organizational design
• Proficient in MSOffice Suite, with focus on MS Excel and Workday (preferred)
• Strong analytical capabilities and an ability to influence managers/leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention and the employee experience
• Able to assess complex situations, take appropriate partnerships and identify resolution
• Able to deal with ambiguity, work independently and be proactive
• Listen and seek to understand needs; build relationships and provide guidance to your teams based on a variety of input
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate, prioritizing team success over individual achievements.
