We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Theatre & Acting Educator to join our growing team and lead engaging after-school theatre programs for elementary and middle school students. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about acting, storytelling, and creative expression, and who enjoy creating a fun, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

August 8 to October 30

• 2nd–5th: Tuesdays, 1:45–2:45 PM
• 6th–8th: Thursdays, 3:00–4:00 PM
• TK–1st: Fridays, 3:00–4:00 PM
  
  $50 p/hr

In this role, you will:

• Teach theatre and acting fundamentals to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging acting exercises, improvisation games, storytelling activities, and creative performances.
• Foster confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork through theatre-based activities.
• Adapt lessons to different ages, experience levels, and learning styles.
• Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping the learning space clean, safe, and engaging.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
• Authorization to work in the US
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
