About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Demand Business Development Manager to drive ConnectAd's demand-side growth across the D/A/CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). 

This is a senior, demand-focused commercial role centred on placing ConnectAd's demand product with agencies and direct clients. You will build and activate PMPs, structure deals with agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, and direct advertisers, and represent ConnectAd as a trusted demand partner across the region. 

Responsibilities

• Build and own senior relationships with agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, and direct advertiser clients across D/A/CH. 
• Place and promote ConnectAd's demand products with agency and direct-client stakeholders. 
• Build and activate PMPs and curated-marketplace deals tailored to buyer needs. 
• Structure and negotiate commercial deals with agencies and direct clients. 
• Translate ConnectAd's supply and platform capabilities into relevant, commercially compelling demand propositions. 
• Collaborate with product, operations, and supply teams to align demand activation with available inventory. 
• Represent ConnectAd at industry events and senior agency and client meetings across the D/A/CH region. 
• Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to identify new demand opportunities. 
• Provide market feedback to product and leadership teams to inform ConnectAd's demand strategy. 

Success metrics

• Demand revenue growth across your D/A/CH agency and direct-client portfolio. 
• PMP and curated-marketplace revenue. 
• Number and quality of new agency and direct-client relationships established. 
• Agency and HoldCo spend activated through ConnectAd. 
• Pipeline quality and conversion rate. 
• Strategic relationship depth across agencies and direct clients in the region. 

Requirements

• Substantial, proven experience in programmatic advertising, adtech, DSP/agency partnerships, or digital-media business development. 
• Strong existing network across German, Austrian, and/or Swiss agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, and/or direct advertisers. 
• Proven commercial track record of building revenue-generating demand partnerships. 
• Strong understanding of RTB, PMPs, curated marketplaces, deal IDs, DSPs, header bidding, and programmatic media buying. 
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders, translating technical programmatic topics into clear commercial value. 
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership, comfortable in a fast-moving, independent SSP environment. 
• Business-fluent German and English (C1 or above).
