INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ SCIENTIST

Salary Range: $103316.0 - $159716.0 Per Year

Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will formulate approaches to solve technical issues with the Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and troubleshoot system behavior through examining recorded data.
  • You will analyze electronic intelligence (ELINT) data to reprogram various EW Sensors.
  • You will perform threat analysis and mission requirements to design, program, and unit level test of the threat libraries.
  • You will perform engineering functions such as developing operational systems concepts, performing system trade studies, originating design concepts or performing systems level test and integration test for highly complex systems.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-3 grade level or pay band (GS-9/11) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Formulating approaches to solve technical issues with the EW systems and troubleshoot system behavior through examining recorded data; 2) Performing threat analysis and mission requirements to design, program, and unit level test of the threat libraries; 3) Demonstrating technical creativity, innovation, and development of concepts from Electronic Warfare (EW) gap analysis.
