Summary:
Maintain internal policies and procedures to include the revision of forms, development of form instructions; ensure forms are updated across all platforms; address operational issues and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop solutions to enhance procedural efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting any and all communications with our customers, prospects, applicants, residents, vendors, or coworkers in a manner consistent with the Company’s Customer Service Program and philosophy.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Supervise, train, and develop the Operations Department staff.
- Collaborate with senior management to set operational goals and implement strategic plans.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity. Supervise the creation/revision of new/existing forms and instructions which include
- Compose, format, edit and proofread text
- Identify impact of new/revised policy and procedure on existing policy and procedure, including potential conflicts.
- Notify applicable personnel of new/revised form
- Assist GSC employees with locating information in the PM Manual and answering policy and procedure questions.
- Maintain the PM Manual website: a. Insert hyperlinks into forms and instructions to create web pages that are published on the PM Manual website. b. Update with new and updated files for publication in the PM Manual.
- Scheduling and conducting Annual Policy Review training for each region.
- Oversee production of monthly Policy Recaps.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Self-education on federal and state laws concerning Fair Housing, ADA, and Landlord-Tenant Acts as they relate to Company Policy.
- Assess and predict necessary policy/procedure changes needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Communicate and collaborate with various department leaders, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to implement new Company initiatives as well as maintain accurate company policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the Operations Department and the Information Systems Department, with a technical understanding of programming across software platforms to ensure accuracy of company forms and procedures.

Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum two years in property management. Minimum of two years of management experience. Business writing experience is strongly preferred.
Skills:
- Strong writing and editing proficiency
- Ability to absorb, translate, and communicate complex information to different audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.), Adobe Acrobat software, and Internet research.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written form.
