Job Description:

Job Summary

• This is a senior level position in application/system engineering.

• Responsibilities include developing and validating 400V+ and multi-phase reference circuits, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and lab automation.

Essential Functions

• Develop Python-based lab automation for equipment such as DMM, power supplies, e-loads, etc.

• Define and execute test plans for application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for Data Center/AI applications.

• Hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board level debugging, and prototype demonstrations.

• Work with cross-functional teams to support existing products and drive new product development.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required

• 5+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supply. Familiar with lab tools like oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, e-loads, frequency analyzer, etc. 

• Prior work experience in 400V products is highly preferred, proven problem solving capability.

• Experience with simulation tool like Simplis is preferred.

• Experience in PCB design/layout with Cadence is a plus.

• Fluent communication skills in English

• Excellent writing and presentation skills

• Self-motivated

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $130,000 - $170,000.
