1. Perform Echocardiogram and write preliminary report.
2. Log and file completed procedures.
3. Regularly upgrade knowledge of techniques and regulations appropriate to the age of patients served.
4. Maintains professional growth and development through approved seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
5. Make patient appointments and insure accuracy of billing.
6. Perform EKGs, stress tests and Holter monitors as needed.
7. Perform other work related duties as requested/directed.
Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Cape Cod Hospitals’ commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with at least one year specialized experience in Doppler Echocardiography.
- Physical and mental health appropriate to the demands of the position.
