ROLE: Senior Staff Accountant
Candidate is responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements Duties include: Assist Controller with, reviewing financial records to check for accuracy and compliance with regulations and laws, keeping track of company earnings and spending, preparing company taxes and ensuring that they are submitted before deadlines, organizing financial records, assisting management with improving financial policies, making recommendations for cutting costs and boosting profits. This position will report directly to the Controller.
LOCATION: DFW- Hybrid 2 days in office- Coppell
- Review of financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
- Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
- Assist in Preparation and file tax returns
- Protects organization's value by keeping confidential information
- Enter accounting related information into business systems
- QuickBooks exp
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Assist in the Organization and updating financial records
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Prepare documentation for external and internal auditors
- Assist with management of all financial records
- Familiarity with asset-light SaaS business model and/or healthcare is a plus

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate or bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance, degree may be substituted in lieu of previous work history and experience.
- At least two years' experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations
- Deadline-Oriented
- Excellent Time Management
