LEASING CONSULTANT (Part-Time) bei Banner Property Management

Location: Emerald Pointe Apartments in Vernon Hills, IL

Schedule: Part-time, 9-5 on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and 10-1 on Saturdays (required)

Hourly Rate: $19.00, based on experience

Incentives: Commissions on new leases

Banner Property Management is looking for a personable, motivated Leasing Consultant to be the welcoming face of Emerald Pointe Apartments, our 120-unit community in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

In this role, you’ll be at the core of our leasing operations—leading property tours, responding to inquiries, guiding prospects through the leasing process, and assisting current residents with their needs. You’ll also support marketing initiatives, coordinate resident events, and handle operational tasks like rent collection and lease renewals.

What You’ll Do

• Engage with prospective residents through tours, follow-ups, and communication
• Assist with leasing paperwork, renewals, and rent collection
• Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media and community events
• Maintain strong knowledge of property features and local market trends
• Deliver exceptional service that enhances resident satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, positive, and adaptable attitude
• Experience with leasing techniques and property management software is a bonus—YARDI is a plus, but we’ll train the right person!
• Weekend availability is required
• Flexibility to cover the office when needed for  vacation coverage
