Job Summary: The Night Porter position assists everyone associated within the Building Maintenance division as well as other departments to help with nighttime operations of the facility. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of member and guest service with a focus on total customer satisfaction. This position is designed to provide the necessary exposure, experience, and preparation for this individual to pursue a future growth and development within the customer service industry.

• Concierge 
• Housekeeping 
• Golf Shop 
• Administration Office 
• Food and Beverage 

Qualifications: The Night Porter position must meet the below requirements: 

• Valid State issued Driver’s License 
• Must have a clean driving record and able to join company insurance policy 
• Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines 
• Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time 
• Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds  

Job Tasks / Duties: The Night Porter job duties include but are not limited to: 

Nightly Duties 

• Assist with and complete all opening and closing procedures as outlined by management staff 
• Taking out trash around the Campus 
• Vacuuming certain areas of the Locker Room after Members/Guests leave  
• Laundry (washing and folding linens that are left over from daytime) 
• Making sure all unused Cottages or buildings are locked up and secure 
• Maintaining a thorough security report 
• Assist fellow teammates to ensure the highest quality of member and guest service 
• Moving luggage from guest quarters into locker room or vice versa 
• Greet all Members and Guests by name and in a professional manner 
• Pickup and Drop-off Members and Guests at the local airports 
• Greet Members and Guests at the bag drop as well as provide a friendly farewell to departing golfers 
• Assist Members and Guests with Cottage room check-ins 
• Manage the main gate with allowing Members and Guests through 
• Hand off the Gate Phone to the Day porter upon completion of a closing shift 
• Maintain a clean and organized work space 
• Relay important information to management staff including Member/Guest issues, work equipment not functioning properly, or staff misconduct 
• Proactively manage nightly work flow to maximize productivity 
• Checking the locker room throughout the night and restocking amenities and towels 
• Take ownership of your work  
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times 
• Nightly Cleaning around the entire Property Campus (if you see trash-Pick it up) 
• Keeping the Learning Center clean and organized and Locked Up

Schedule: The Night Porter position will work approximately 40hrs (Full-time) or less per week during the entire year. However, based on required service levels, the above-mentioned hours could be more or less. Standard shift hours but not limited to are 7:00pm to 6:00am, 7:30pm to 6:00am or 6:00pm to 6:00am. This would include 11hr, 11.5hr, and 12hr shifts. During Special Outings the employee could be asked to come in early. The Night Porter will have a two-week alternating schedule with the other Night Porter. First Week would work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, but would have OFF Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Second Week would work Wednesday Thursday and Friday, but would have OFF Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
