Registered Nurse | Surgery bei St. Cloud Hospital

Find your purpose with CentraCare by changing the lives of our patients as a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Department with the Long Prairie Hospital!  We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Circulating Nurse to join our Surgical Services team.  This role is multi-faceted, supporting patient care across the Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Admitting/Discharge areas. As a circulating nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient and compassionate care for patients throughout their surgical experience. 

In this role you will: 

• Function as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and compliance with surgical protocols.
• Provide skilled post-anesthesia care in the PACU, monitoring patient recovery and responding promptly to clinical needs.
• Assist with patient admission and discharge processes, including assessments, documentation, and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary staff to support seamless patient flow and high-quality care.
• Flexibility to float to other areas of the hospital as needed to support patient care.

Schedule:

• Part-time | 40 hours every two weeks | Long Prairie Hospital 
• Various shifts Monday - Friday | Various shifts between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (dependent on surgery & outpatient schedule)
• Rotating weekday on-call | Rotating holiday on-call 
• Every 4^th weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) on-call 

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay based on experience and degree 
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour 
  • Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour 
  • Master’s in nursing starting at $43.43 per hour 
    • Pay range: $41.34 - $62.01 per hour 
• $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates!

Qualifications: 

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing  
• Current Minnesota RN license 
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situations

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation assistance, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Long Prairie Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment.
