We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Welder. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and will work in Pompano Beach, FL.

As Welder of the Pompano Beach, FL team, you will be involved in supporting production by welding sheet metal products required for unit production.

General Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates TIG welding equipment (stud welder and oxy/acetylene torch) to fabricate production materials.
• Welds light gauge metal in a uniform and consistent manner.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the shop floor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Follow all safety rules, ISO requirements and build units to the highest standard of quality.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in (operational/engineering/manufacturing/etc.) environment. Additionally, they will have acquired the following qualifications and experiences:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 – 5 years’ experience using a torch set, any other metal working experience helpful.
• Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and machine sheets.
