Position Overview

This position reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain and Quality and responsible for performing Operations and Quality inspection activities including Inbound and Outbound Quality, Receiving, Lot Receiving, Picking, Shipping and Inventory Control. This position requires an individual with Quality Control and Assurance knowledge with a focus on Operational Excellence in achieving high customer satisfaction. 

Specific Accountabilities

  • Perform Inbound and Outbound Quality activities under their respective job specific accountabilities to process material according to procedures and work instructions 
  • Place non-conforming items in Quarantine and notifying stakeholders/impacted parties of said issues
  • Support various stakeholders on resolving items in QC Hold
  • Perform Picking Process for Sales, Repair, and Purchase Orders and ensure timely processing
  • Receive aircraft/airframe teardown, parts packages, engines and APU’s
  • Support accuracy and proper handling of inventory for storage
  • Import logs and verify the status of scrap and purge locations.
  • Prepare bill of ladings and shipping documents, processing package shipments and arrange for UPS/FedEx/other carrier pick-ups
  • Support sales and customers by providing status of parts and freight pickup when necessary
  • Ensure items for shipping comply with export, PO and Sales/Repair instructions and requirements; processed in accordance with shippers’ cut-off times 
  • Process and Scan RO/SO into Quantum
  • Attend Greenville Operations meetings when held
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment 
  • Support Continuous Improvement activities
  • Support Asset Management activities when necessary
  • Support departmental performance goals 
  • Any additional short-term duties that arise based on business needs

Qualifications

  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Highly accurate work habits, along with attention to detail
  • Hazmat (hazardous materials knowledge); DOT and IATA
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and raise objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position
  • Must be able to operate forklifts, high lift equipment and other warehouse equipment

What Sets You Apart

  • Aviation background strongly preferred
  • Quantum Control software experience
