About the Position
We have an opening for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to work oversee our Southern Oregon programs in Medford, Oregon! The Psychiatric Registered Nurse consult with program administrators, staff, and Licensed Medical Providers (LMP’s) as needed. They will conduct medication training to staff and perform checkoffs (Annual/ Pre-Service Medication [PSM] training) including review of: Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), emergency medication protocols, manual vital signs and facility medical guides. The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will support the intake process and review and clarify medication orders and New Medication Orders (NMO) for referrals and new admissions. They will serve as a liaison with CCS LMPs, including preparation and submission of bridge medication requests and other related needs.
ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time, Day). This position requires evening and weekend on-call availability by phone.
What You’ll Make
$7,083.33 - $8,750 per month DOE/Credentials.
Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
What You’ll Need
Successful candidates MUST have:
- MUST have an Associate's degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Previous experience providing acute psychiatric care or outpatient community mental health treatment is highly preferred
Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
