SCOPE OF POSITION: 

The Assistant Smoke Shop Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring adherence to the internal controls relative to non-gaming operations under the general supervision of the Smoke Shops Operations Manager. The Assistant Smoke Shop Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with overseeing all Smoke Shop aspects and operations. The Assistant Smoke Shop Operations Manager's performance is necessary for the Smoke Shop to reach its full potential to provide superior products and services for its guests. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Assist with ad hoc with basic daily operations of facilities.
•    Assists with purchasing supplies for facilities.
•    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Smoke Shops and its team members.
•    Performs administrative assistant duties as needed.
•    Assists with all store inventories.
•    Fills in for store managers or cashiers during absences.
•    Monitors and provides input on the performance of store managers, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
•    Must be capable of making critical decisions.
•    Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
•    Must maintain awareness of all activities.
•    Attends and satisfactorily completes all training or other duties as assigned by the Director of Smoke Shops.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: 

Team members are regularly exposed to the following: weather, exhaust fumes, secondhand smoke, dust, and chemicals associated with cleaning. T earn members may be required to perform actions related to the following: hand-eye coordination, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, driving, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, and balancing. Team members may be required to perform duties that require specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

• Associate degree in a related field; and
• One (1) years of Management Experience; or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Food and Beverage experience is preferred.
• Must have strong supervisor and leadership skills.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to manage time efficiently.
• Must have strong mathematical skills.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must have moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• 1 0 Key preferred.
