Project Manager – Buildings & Environments – Managing Costs, Schedules & Performance

JANSON is seeking a passionate, purposeful, and problem-solving individual to serve as our Project Manager for our Buildings & Environments domain and reports to our VP of Buildings & Environments. This role requires proven management experience, contract performance to include cost and schedule. This position will be based at our Headquarters in Fairfax, VA with frequent travel domestically and abroad.

This individual will be vital to both the day-to-day and long-term success of JANSON. As a mission-focused organization fueled by our commitment to service excellence, the ideal candidate must maintain the ability to:

Clearance: Secret Clearance Preferred

Responsibilities:

• Monitor program budgets & schedules across several contracts for buildings & environments
• Accountable for staying within agreed upon budgets
• Manages quality of all partner deliverables
• Manages project transactions (reviews and adjusts)
• Proven ability to brief senior leaders
• Manages all projects on-quality (tactical), on-time and on-budget
• Maintain quality control program and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with the contracting authorities and internal project coordinator to develop project plans, scope, objectives, schedules and deliverables

Qualifications:

• BS degree or commensurate experiences with at least 7 years of experience in a related field such as program or project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and drive performance and growth
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in MS Project, excel and other advanced project management software
• Ability to accomplish big picture objectives through a strong focus on detail
• Understanding of government contracts
• SECRET clearance preferred
• Prior military experience preferred,  but not required
• Exceptional organizational and planning ability
• Strong leadership skills
• PMP preferred, but not required
• Knowledge and experience managing LCATs, labor utilization and pricing
• FAR requirements
