Overview:
Glenbrook South High School's Career and Technical Education department is seeking a dynamic educational professional to serve as the next Business Education Teacher - Accounting for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will involve teaching courses related to experience and department needs. This position’s teacher’s schedule will be teaching five (5) accounting courses. The Business Education teacher will join a thriving department with an extensive offering of courses.

Requirement and Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and be properly certified. A Masters of Accounting or CPA to continue offering dual credit courses is preferred but not required. If a PEL with the appropriate endorsement is not held, please review other options to qualify for a position in Career and Technology Education by visiting ISBE.net (Career and Technical Educator).

Compensation:
The base salary for this position will be established based on the Glenbrook Education Association's teacher salary schedule, which is attached to this job posting. To learn more about D225's compensation and benefits package, please visit our website.

Glenbrook High School District 225, commonly referred to as the Glenbrooks has a student enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools have a reputation for offering students an excellent, high-quality, well-rounded educational experience. In addition to our two high schools, The Glenbrooks also offer alternative learning at Glenbrook Off-Campus.

To create a comprehensive high school experience, the Glenbrooks focus on four distinct areas: Academics, Athletics, Activities, and the Arts. Academic success is a top priority for our students and with almost 300 diverse course offerings, there is plenty of opportunity for exploration.
