Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will manage the production staff and ensure that a quality product is made while adhering to safety protocols at our St. Louis, MO branch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hire and manage, coach, mentor, train and support all direct reports, as well as oversee warehouse staff.
- Drive production to meet our customers required ship dates while working with P&L Manager to achieve net profitability goals, margins, and costs.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast future inventory needs and maintain min/max levels.
- Maintain proper inventory organization in relation to production flow.
- Develop and implement programs to meet customer requirements.
- Assist in managing supplier relationships.
- Promote employee teamwork and motivation, including employee recognition.
- Encourage positive thinking approaches to problem solving.
- Conduct Annual performance reviews, maintain appropriate records.
- Address and resolve personnel records.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to a strict Safety Guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong relationship building skills required.
- Detail oriented with solid organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Highly organized, with the ability to work independently.
- Solid computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs.
- Experience with industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings.
- Experience with industrial distribution workflow.
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, in accordance with company guidelines.

- Speak clearly and hear.
- This is an active role; however, some office work at a desk is required. This job requires the ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items up to 50 lbs.
