Hybrid Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist bei Cooperman St. Barnabas / Livingston site

Physician Practice Enhancements is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at Cooperman St. Barnabus in Livingston, NJ.

 The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in a hospital setting. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.

12 hour shifts 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret laboratory results.
• Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as necessary.
• Provide acute pain management and support for patients undergoing procedures.
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and patient records.
• Educate patients about health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state of New Jersey
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
