Use your culinary skills to serve individuals in the Eastern Massachusetts community on the road to recovery from addiction!
What you will be doing:
- Adhere to kitchen compliance standards set by the Department of Public Health.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary food preparation environment.
- Order food, plan menus, and prepare nutritious and healthy meals for the individuals served using clear and appropriate communication to all parties.
- Maintain ServSafe certification.
- Shift for this position is 12pm-7pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and either 6am-2pm or 12pm-7pm Friday and Saturday (rotating). Days off - Sunday and Monday.
What are we looking for in a Cook?
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Food preparation experience
- ServSafe certification
- Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration
- Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems
- Location: Hyde Park, MA
