Job Description:Salary Range: $20–$26 per hour
Location: On-site
Department: Production-Warehouse/Components
We are seeking a Component Lead to support warehouse operations and ensure timely material readiness for production. This role is hands-on, focused on staging, auditing, and maintaining components while minimizing waste and keeping the warehouse organized. The Component Lead will work closely with the Allocator and Ink Specialist, while carrying out the daily plans set by the Component Supervisor. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of warehouse or component handling experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out daily plans and priorities as directed by the Component Supervisor.
- Audit components during staging to identify and resolve quality or accuracy issues before release to production.
- Coordinate with the Component Allocator and Ink Specialist to align materials, timing, and readiness.
- Perform roll transfers and splice partial rolls of like materials to minimize waste.
- Prioritize use of leftover lamination and substrates.
- Track recurring waste and support corrective actions.
- Manage waste cores.
- Handle material pre-allocation and staging for upcoming jobs.
- Conduct monthly hard inventory audits
- Create slit requests to meet production requirements.
- Organize warehouse and rack space; maintain clean, safe, and compliant areas.
- Assist in managing inventories, tooling, and supplies within the component scope.
- Use the iPad interface to assign materials, respond to material requests, and track component usage in real time.
- Overtime authorization is required in advance; repeated refusal to work overtime is a violation of company policy.
Knowledge and Skills
- Warehouse operations, staging, and inventory control.
- High attention to detail when receiving, inspecting, and allocating materials.
- Problem solving for material shortages, vendor discrepancies, and allocation errors.
- Knowledge of raw materials, laminations, adhesives, and stock handling.
- Basic color and ink process awareness to support press needs.
- Organization, time management, and clear communication.
- Accountability, dependability, and follow-through.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in component or inventory handling (required).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (preferred).
- Willingness to obtain and maintain forklift certification (required).
