Position Overview
Head-Royce School in Oakland is looking for Cross Country Head Coach for the fall season. Our XCountry season starts on August 26th. This is a part-time position; no teaching position is available.
Head-Royce is a private, co-educational K-12 school located in Oakland and supports one of the best small-school athletics programs in the Bay Area.
Successful candidates possess the passion, energy, knowledge of tennis and desire to continue the tradition of our successful athletic programs. They must have the leadership and organizational skills to manage a team of driven and high-performing student-athletes and the communication skills to relate to the current generation of student-athletes, our athletics administration and families.
Team practices take place from roughly 2:30pm - 5:30pm four days a week (with no weekends). We host home matches on campus. We ask our coach(es) to drive school vans to away matches. The season starts on 8/16 and ends on 10/27.
