The Transportation Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring every guest's experience at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is personal, smooth and efficient. As the frontline leader at the McNamara and Evans Terminals, this position is responsible for monitoring shuttle operations and creating memorable service touchpoints for four major airport parking facilities: Qwik Park, US Park, Airlines Parking and Park N Go.  With direct guest interaction, real time operational coordination, and daily decision-making responsibility, this role is both  highly visible and deeply impactful. It's also a stepping stone to a rewarding long-term career in the transportation and operations management. 

Requirements

Must be able to work in all weather conditions year-round, including heat and cold, within a covered ground transportation area.

As Ground Transportation Supervisor at DTW, maintaining compliance with airport ground transportation regulations is an essential part of your responsibilities. You are expected to follow and enforce all policies issued by the Wayne County Airport Authority (WCAA) and provide accurate guidance to travelers.

Maintain guest wait times under five minutes at the assigned airport terminal

Call Dispatch on behalf of guests during extended waits to expedite service

Identify shuttle tickets by color and direct guests accordingly. Green Park N Go 734-729-3999  Yellow- Airlines Parking 1-800-300-9069 Pink- US Park 1-800447-7275  Red- Qwik Park 1-800-844-7275

Greet each guest, and engage. Ensuring guests board the correct shuttle and feel appreciated. Examples: " Welcome back, How was your trip?" or "Thanks for parking with us. See you next time."

Wear the designated company safety vest and name badge at all times

Ensure adherence to company safety, service and brand standards through regular random inspections.

To ensure all shuttles meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and professionalism by conducting random visual inspections and walk arounds. 

Ensure employees are dressed in full, approved uniforms, including proper footwear

Name badges must be visible and worn in the designated location at all times while on duty

Confirm all drivers are wearing seatbelts while operating the shuttle
