The Clinical Application Specialist role covers two main areas of responsibility including Customer Training on the use of software and hardware products and Support to customers who may experience issues with their products. The primary responsibility will be to support the RT Software team for approximately 70% of the time and the RT Measurement team for around 30%, subject to adjustment based on evolving business needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following and may change depending on business needs.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Customer Training
- Effectively deliver independent onsite and remote educational training on the use of Sun Nuclear products
- Complete all pre-work and effectively communicate the training plan to the customer.
- Assist in the development of training materials including but not limited to Power Point presentation, syllabus, and user documentation/instructions
Product Support
- Interface with customers to resolve cases and assist in troubleshooting escalated issues in a timely manner
- Identify customer needs and determine internal resources needed for resolution
Other
- Attend conferences and trade shows as needed
- Create Knowledge base articles on processes and troubleshooting steps to help the team if similar issues are encountered in the field
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested occasionally
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Medical Physics, Dosimetry, or a related field
- Fluent in French and English
- A background in Radiation Oncology
- Clinical experience in Radiation Therapy is a plus
- Skilled at explaining complex topics clearly and effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident in presenting ideas both in person and remotely.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable with web-based tools and learning new technologies.
- Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities and situations.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Open-minded and able to think outside the box.
- Attentive to customer and team feedback.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites
