Make a Difference
The Registered Respiratory Therapist ECMO MCS Coordinator provides oversight to the clinical care coordination, outcome management, education and evaluation for the ECMO/Mechanical Circulatory Support Program. The Coordinator performs as an expert clinician with extensive knowledge of ECMO and temporary MCS for all phases of patient care. The Coordinator will facilitate training/competency compliance, maintain/oversee quality metrics and implement process improvement, policy/procedure management, supply management/maintenance, implement program goals, etc. In addition, the Coordinator will be responsible for staff scheduling in collaboration with unit leadership, staff rounding, facilitation of team meetings, etc.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice and care in alignment with the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.

•    Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in Respiratory Therapy.
•    Licensed as an RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana. Registered by the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). 
•    Minimum of 2 years of ECMO Specialist experience required; 5 years+ ECMO Specialist experience highly preferred. 
•    Excellent communication skills. 
•    Excellent team skills.
•    Compassionate and caring.
•    Accountable.
•    Self-directed.
•    EPIC experience is a plus.
