Join Millennium Print Group as a Prepress Quality Control Operator (S3)!
We’re looking for a Prepress Quality Control Operator to join our team in Morrisville, NC. If you’re passionate about print production, quality assurance, and prepress operations, this is your chance to work on products loved around the world.
📍 Location: Morrisville, NC
🕒 Schedule: Full-time, Onsite
💰 Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly wage + bonus eligibility + full benefits package
What You'll Do:
- Inspect die files for foil stamping and cutting before ordering and submit to die makers
- Review and compare actual dies to overlays to ensure precision before production
- Inspect color proofs and VPS files to verify accuracy before plating
- Assist with proofing, plating, and cutting blankets during high-volume periods
- Output plates using Kodak plate setter and Esko/Dupont plating systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine prepress file issues
- Maintain quality control by verifying page layout, color breaks, die lines, and crop marks
What You'll Bring:
Education Requirement:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience & Background:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a commercial print environment
- Background in prepress, quality control, or print production preferred
Skills & Tools:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with Kodak Prinergy/Insite, Preps, Pandora, EFI Metrix
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
