Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill an Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Manager position. This is a full-time position in Gardner's Integrated Behavioral Health Department. The position is based out of both the CompreCare Clinic in San Jose, CA and the South County Clinic in Gilroy, CA. Gardner's Integrated Behavioral Health program provides behavioral health services in the primary care setting within a multidisciplinary team including Primary Care Physician, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Psychiatrists, and Peer Partners.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative aspects of the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Department, including supervision of the care coordination team. The Integrated Behavioral Health Manager will work closely with the Director and Associate Director of Specialty Behavioral Health. The IBH Manager will ensure smooth workflows, efficient scheduling, and effective onboarding and training programs. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented and self-directed with excellent communication skills. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to provide high-quality, integrated behavioral health services to our patients and community. Along with the operational and administrative duties, the IBH Manager Provides mental health assessments, psychological services and conducts neuropsychological testing of clients. Possession of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certificate is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Current and active License in Clinical Social Work or Clinical Psychology in the state of CA. 
  • Must possess a master’s or PhD with some administrative experience. . 
  • Must be knowledgeable of principles of psychosocial and neurophysiologic assessments and with multidisciplinary team assessment processes.
  • Minimum 1 year management/supervisor experience in related field.
  • Knowledge of community resources and the ability to maintain good working relationships with outside agencies, and the various Gardner departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with individuals for a wide range of conditions 
  • Minimum two years post-licensure work experience
  • Interest in working with a diverse and multicultural community-based organization and sensitivity to their need’s health problems. 
  • Must possess a valid CA driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
  • Strongly preferred: To be culturally sensitive of all patients, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and co-workers, strong policy writing skills and familiarity with community resources.

Compensation:

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.
