The Product Marketing Manager - Hunt is responsible for driving efforts to create compelling content, building authentic stories, and launching new products that drive awareness and sales for LaCrosse Footwear, Inc. Primarily focused on LaCrosse Hunt, they will leverage opportunities across the LaCrosse and Danner brands in the wider Hunt, Outdoor and Accessories categories. This role is made for someone who understands the hunt lifestyle and is passionate about connecting with those who live for the outdoors.
A strategic thinker and excellent communicator, this individual will develop and execute all marketing campaigns to push LaCrosse toward its goal of becoming the #1 hunting footwear brand in the U.S. They will need to collaborate closely with marketing, product and sales teammates to uncover key product narratives and activate them across all major touchpoints: e-commerce, wholesale, retail, trade shows, consumer events, paid media and direct mail. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone ready to bring big ideas to life and drive results across every channel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned.):
- Execute 360-degree go-to-market (GTM) campaigns to support product launches and brand stories in key Hunt/Outdoor markets; identify asset needs based on consumer insights and market trends.
- Own and manage the Hunt marketing campaign calendar across all channels and touchpoints, in partnership with brand and community marketing.
- Collaborate with category and functional leaders to develop a three-year marketing roadmap, ensuring consistent messaging across owned, earned, and paid media.
- Manage external agency partners to deliver high-quality creative assets, in line with campaign planning and deadlines, supporting demand-creation efforts across all relevant channels.
- Partner with community, wholesale, retail, and digital teams to bring campaigns to life across all channels; coordinate content distribution with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the creative briefing process, setting requirements for copy, photography, video, social and other campaign content to connect with the outdoor consumer; choose photography assets that are true to our brand guidelines and authentic to Hunt and Outdoor markets.
- Manage paid media campaigns in partnership with Performance Marketing Manager and other internal and external partners, including strategy, budget and added value opportunities.
- Collaborate with Wholesale Marketing team to support seasonal product launches and brand campaigns with key account partners.
- Represent the LaCrosse brand at key industry and consumer events, including in-field content capture opportunities.
- Serve as an essential member of the Hunt Initiative team.
- Identify and provide grassroots product awareness opportunities, community engagement and seeding.
- Role allocation: 80% focus on LaCrosse Hunt, 10% on LaCrosse Outdoor, and 10% on Danner Hunt marketing.
- Serve as a key member of Lacrosse Footwear Inc. Marketing team; Participate in team meetings and planning; Support budget planning and tracking; Represent brand and marketing direction internally with other departments.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3-5 years of marketing experience or related field
- Passion for hunting and the outdoors is essential; hunting industry experience preferred
- Education in marketing or communications, bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have knowledge and familiarity with Mac OS Computer, Microsoft Office, Adobe software, Basecamp, Opal, and other tools
- Hunting experience required
- 15% travel required – includes semiannual sales meetings, 2-3 hunts per year, trade shows, consumer events, as well as priority national account meetings.
- Must be dependable highly organized and team oriented with excellent communication skills
- Remote work considered for the right candidate, with travel required for key meetings, events and content capture.
