Hybrid Junior Data Analyst bei Krutham

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our team, ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow their expertise in data management and research. This role focuses on data handling, analysis, and insights that inform strategy and decision-making, with a strong emphasis on advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, clean, and manage datasets for research projects.
• Collect, clean, and organise datasets from various sources.
• Conduct data analysis and generate meaningful insights to support business decisions.
• Generate graphs and other meaningful insights based on the data including written explanations
• Create, update, and maintain reports, dashboards, and tracking tools (primarily in Excel, with exposure to other tools).
• Support business units with ad-hoc data queries and reporting needs.
• Support researchers with quantitative elements of studies.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to align data work with research objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data processes.

Requirements:

• BCom in IT, Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Undergraduate or Honours).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts).
• Basic understanding of data management principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (but not essential):

• Exposure to research methodologies.
• Exposure to data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience or coursework in basic programming (Python, SQL).
